Sir John Wesley School’s Nursery

Cambrian Heather, Ashford CoE School

Diocesan Architectural Services Ltd indulged in the subtly distinctive Heather colour of Redland’s Cambrian Slates for the roofing of this new nursery built by the Folkstone-based Jenner Contractors at a voluntary-aided primary school in Kent.

While manufactured from 60%-recycled Welsh slate with the thinnest leading edge, Cambrians actually perform as a modern interlocking tile like no natural slate can.

Redland Cambrian Slates manufactured in Wales are the most eco-friendly resin slates available. The Green Guide to Specification awards generic resin slates an A-rating when part of standard roof constructions.

Installed by the Canterbury-based Charles Bates Roofing with the recommended fixings, the Sir John Wesley School’s nursery roof is backed by the unique Redland 15 Year Roof System Guarantee.
