Could you be the Redland Apprentice of the Year 2017?

The challenge is on for roofing apprentices, who are one day looking to run their own business, to come forward to convince us that they are the most likely to succeed!

Ten finalists will be invited, along with their course tutor, to attend the two-day final on the 27th and 28th June.

It’s a competition that will test several aspects of a well-rounded apprentice, not just skills on the roof. Finalists will receive professional coaching on all aspects of running a roofing business and will take part in “knowledge-sharing sessions” with roofing industry leaders, before battling it out to see who the Redland Apprentice of the Year 2017 will be!

How to enter

Simply answer one of the following questions:

1. Tell us about a project you’ve worked on that has inspired you.

2. Tell us about a building that inspires you and why.

3. Tell us about someone who has inspired you to succeed.

Entries can be in the form of an essay, a video submission, a presentation or whatever form you choose.

Judges will be looking for evidence of a motivated individual with spark, who also demonstrates awareness of the roofing industry.

Entrants need to be a member of one of the participating colleges* and you can download the Redland Apprentice of the Year 2017 entry form from the link below.
