MONIER is the quality leader in roofing. And with the re-introduction of the Redland name in 2008 it is a brand that has stood for know-how and experience for 90 years as we celebrate our anniversary this year.

| Redland invest £6,000 in small German company headed by Rudolf Braas. | |
| 1955 | |
| Redland quoted on the London Stock Exchange. | |

| Stonewold Mk I launched. | |
| 1961-1969 | |
| Rapid growth as Redland acquires or opens 7 new factories including the Grovebury Tile Works in Leighton Buzzard (later to be replaced as Vandyke), Burlescombe, Wigan, Shawell (Rugby) and Stirling. | |

| Stonewold Mk II launched. | |
| 1965 | |
| First Wind Tunnel opened in Horsham. | |

| First Technical Manual launched. | |

| Redland purchase a large holding in Australian company, Monier. | |

| UK's first Dry Verge system launched. | |
| 1976 | |
| Company name changes to Redland Roof Tiles Limited. | |

| REDIES computer estimating service launched and UK's first Dry Ridge system developed. | |
| 1980 | |
| Factories opened in Denmark and Japan. | |
| 1983 | |
| 100 Year Guarantee for concrete tiles. | |
| 1984 | |
| Redland acquires Rosemary Brick and Tile Company. Rassau factory opened manufacturing the UK's first reconstituted interlocking slate - Cambrian. | |

| Cambrian Slate officially launched! First Dry Ventilated Ridge launched. | |
| 1990 | |
| The roofing industries first Training Centre expands at South Cerney. Dry Hip launched. New £2 million Wind Tunnel opened at Horsham by Michael Fish. | |

| Cambrian Slate wins Queens Award for Technological Achievement. Mini Stonewold launched. | |
| 1992 | |
| Acquisition of Steetley Brick & Tile. | |
| 1994 | |
| Guaranteed SpecMaster service launched. DesignMaster CAD package introduced. | |
| 1997 | |
| Redland acquired by Lafarge. | |
| 2003 | |
| Redland Roofing Systems changes its name to Lafarge Roofing. Spirtech breathable underlay launched. | |
| 2004 | |
| Launch of DuoPlain and Veltitech Underlay. Breathing Roof concept introduced. | |
| 2007 | |
| Lafarge sells Lafarge Roofing to PAI Partners, maintaining a 35% stake in the business. | |
| 2008 | |
| Lafarge Roofing becomes Monier Ltd. 2008 sees the return of the respected Redland Brand in the UK. Fully integrated and guaranteed Solar Water Heating System launched. | |

| Redland celebrates its 90th birthday. |
